We blind-tasted this with Michelin 3-Star Noma's Vegan XO Sauce ($70 with shipping!!) and unanimously preferred the Maison XO version for its perfect balance of familiar comfort and exciting complexity. Amazing on whipped Greek yogurt!
This sauce is dank AF. An easy topping for me on anything asian and savory. Recommended to my mom and family. Can't wait to try other additions to the family!
I've had the privilege of sampling over a dozen iterations of the Vegan XO Sauce and I can confidently say that this commercial version is simply the best. You can tell that a ton of hard work and love has gone into making and refining this product - it's a shame that Maison XO is only making XO sauce. I'd love to see what else Ryan can do. Do yourself a favor and give it a try - you won't regret it.
We used the XO Sauce last weekend and it was delicious! We made a pasta dish with simple cherry tomatoes and shallots as base and it was so unique and scrumptious that I don’t believe that I have ever tasted anything so full of umami with a rainbow of flavors! Thank you for making this and you have a long term customer!!
My wife and I grew up in HK and we loved the XO Sauce. It reminded us of home and the great Chinese dishes with XO (e.g., noodles, eggs, seafood, etc.). Definitely a winner!
